E-I-E-I-O

This past weekend we took the kids on a trip to the farm..the little ones had never been so I thought they would enjoy it. Adler had a good time for about the first 10 minutes..after that, he wouldn't get out of the wagon..and Piper, i think she enjoyed herself..her favorite thing was running around the chicken pens trying to catch one..but no such luck. It was a bit hard getting shots, the farm was completely shaded by huge tress, but the sun kept peeking through..here are just a few from the day...

How gross is this thing..there is NO way I would pick this up..I just don't do animals...look at all of those feathers missing from it's neck...YUCK!

Tracey...someone asked the same question awhile back..I just coppied my response here for you..

"My camera bag..I shoot with the 5D..I have the 24-70L, the 70-200L IS, 85 1.2L, and the 35 1.4L

I would have to say my favorite is the 85..but it does have a bit of a learning curve..well for me anyway. I find a lot of time I get one eye slightly oof..the reason being..I always try to shoot at 2.0 or wider..and I'm always trying to get right up in their face..I know better, but I just keep doing it..but when I do step back a bit..and nail it..it's razor sharp..almost too sharp at times..like this first picture of Piper..I sharpened for web a bit..but that's it..and IMO..her eyes are almost too sharp, I do find it is a bit slow to focus..which causes a problem with the little ones..but overall..it's a dream..my favorite by far..

Love both the 24-70..and 70-200..I use the 24-70 a lot indoors..when I find I don't have enough room for the 85..and the 70-200 is perfection outdoors and for the girls cheer events.

The 35..well..I NEVER use it..I am thinking of geting rid of it..and trading it in for another...my mouth is watering for the 135L..still debating that one though.."

I am not sure why I never noticed this before...but I am amazed at how blue Adler's eyes are compared to the girls! You must get comments on that all the time though!

I'm LOL at your animal comment. It's kind of like one of those so-ugly-it's-cute kind of animals. Love the pics as always, especially the first one.

Yes. I too lpve how crisp your photos are. I have the 24-70L and use it a lot. On my wish list I want the 85 1.2L 70- 200L IS and of course the 5D. So, basically I am jealous of you, you have all that I want. If your gear comes up missing someday don't suspect me LOL!
