we woke up Saturday morning to an overcast, wet, yucky day...Phil took the girls to Tallahassee for the Florida State football game, which left me at home alone..with Adler and Piper. We spent the morning reading books, playing puzzles, building towers..and then I decided to let them make cupcakes. We ended up with a huge mess..but they both had the best time..cracking eggs, measuring oil, mixing, stirring..they did it all!
It was so dark in the house..I had to crank my ISO up to 1600 and my shutters were around 1/60..not the best pictures, but they keep the memory.
Adler kept his head down in that bowl the entire time.. I guess he wanted to make sure it didn't miss anything...

Piper showing her impatience taking turns with the mixer..
I bet I told him 100 times to get his head out of the bowl...

eagerly waiting...
Finally frosting..
Right after I took this, Piper looked up at me and said.."We having so much fun today!"
Yummy!

After the cupcakes we sat on the couch on watched an episode of "Yo GabbaGabba" which is very entertaining..and somewhat disturbing, all at the same time...here's a little clip..Enjoy!
