So mad.
And so sick. Last night Raygan came to me telling me that she had a sore throat and headache. It was bedtime, so I gave her some Motrin, and put her to bed. I assumed she was just overtired and needed to sleep. I was wrong..this morning she woke up with a 101 fever, sore throat, headache, and vomiting. She looked pitiful! I told her to go get back in bed and she burst into tears..here comes the "mad" part. She was supposed to go to a slumber party tonight. One of the little girls from school was having a birthday party..A spa slumber party and they had been talking about it for weeks. She was so excited and and couldn't wait for the day to get here. I just feel so sorry for her..she is NEVER sick..and now, when something so special is happening..she can't be a part of it. She has been in tears all day..telling me it's just not fair. My husband told her we could have a little party here tonight..rent movies, pop popcorn, play board games..somehow I don't think it will be quite the same. She is feeling "good" right now..her second round of Motrin has kicked in..I told her we would bake some brownies..her favorite snack. She just seems so sad..and there is nothing that I can do for her..if only I could make it better. Hopefully this will pass quickly without infecting the other three..fingers crossed!

Ohhh, the poor girl! That's so disappointing and frustrating. Tell her that the same thing happened to me when I was 11, but I had the flu. I was really upset, but my friends were really nice to me, and I felt better pretty fast! But I know that horrible feeling of madness/sadness all too well.
Strep sucks, I hope she's back to normal soon!!

:( Poor Raygan. It's awful being sick but it's terrible to miss out on something like that. I hope she enjoys your mini party though...
Oh, poor girl. It's so hard to console them over these sort of things. Mom and dad, just are quite the same as a bunch of giggling girls! Hope the rest of you stay healthy!

Hope she's better soon, I'm sorry she's missing out on the girl fun. Sounds like you guys will help her through and life will be good again.
Make sure she finishes the antibiotics if she was given some.... even if she's feeling better!
