We're back...and exhausted...

We were only gone for four days, but it seems we were gone weeks...I am beat and I've got tons of laundry to do...but the good news is that everyone had a great time..the girls had a blast staying up way past bedtime..and Adler had so many ice cream cones that he was refusing them by the end of the cruise.

Unfortunately, I didn't do much in the photography department. It was really hard to get shots. There were so many tourists walking around, every time I found something/someplace cool to take a shot..people would walk in front of or behind what I was trying to get...plus, we had about thirty people with us, every time I told the girls to go stand here or there..I had a group of people tapping their foot thinking.."enough is enough,let's go!!" Plus, the lighting was really harsh and I don't do well in full sun..So..I finally gave up and getting the "perfect" shot..and just went for snapshots to capture the memories..which I guess, is what it is all really about.. here's just a few I thought I'd share.

Like I said, not the greatest technically, but I still like them. I see the joy and hear the laughter when I look at them..a moment captured, never to forget.

Oh , and I can't forget this..this was the one and only thing I purchased on the entire trip...

Since Piper didn't go with us, I wanted to bring her back a little something..I thought that was the cutest little raggedy-ish dolly..well, she took one look at it..started crying, threw it to the ground and said "No"...she did warm up to it a bit later..but I don't think it will be her favorite anytime soon...oh well...
