Two and Three

I can't believe my babies are two and three. Piper's birthday was yesterday, and Adler's is tomorrow. June 13th and 15th...where did the time go?? They are growing up way too fast! It's so funny..now that Piper is catching up in size, I get the question.."are they twins?" all of the time. I am so glad they are so close, they are such good buddies..playing together, taking care of each other. I love to listen to there little conversations and watch them interact..they have such a bond, a bond that I hope will continue to grow.

So..I was feeling a bit guilty for not having a big birthday bash...we are having a small party next weekend, a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse pool party to be exact, but I didn't do the "huge, invite everyone we know and spend a thousand dollars" birthday blow-out that I did for the girls. Unfortunately the novelty of that is over and life is busy.

When I woke up this morning I was feeling a bit of guilt, I couldn't let the days go without doing something, so we packed into the car and went to Target. I bought stuff to make cupcakes and then we headed to the toy isle. Piper insisted on a bean bag Donald Duck and Adler choose a Spider-Man figurine. We had some friends come over a few weeks ago and their little boys had a Spider-Man toy, since then all that Adler talks about is Spider-Man..although he says "Itsy-Bitsy Spider-Man " Cute,eh?

When they woke up from their naps, we went over to my parents house, ate the cupcakes, sang "Happy Birthday" and that was that..not the blow-out, but something..

Could anything be cuter than this?

After the cupcakes, Adler found this hat that actually has been around since Raygan was little, and wouldn't part with it..can't decide if I like it better in color or b/w..





But, like I said, we will be having a party next week..I still need to do my shopping, but here's what they will be getting..

Little Tike's sprinkler ball..we have a pool..so I'm not sure how much they will use this..but I think it looks like so much fun..they love balls..and they love water..so..I'm sure they love this...

These stuffed animals from the "Wonder Pets". They are obsessed with this show..Lenny, Tuck, and Ming-Ming too...I'm sure we are going to have a few fights over them..but I'm not buying two sets..they'll just have to figure it out.."wonder pets, wonder pets, we're on our way...."

They got AquaDoodle stuff last year and they loved it..they have worn it out..so I'll be refreshing their supply. New pens and coloring mats..

And the big gift..the Fisher Price Kid Tough mp3 player. They are always after the girls Ipods..so I think they will love this, you can download all kinds of music/stories on it and it even has speakers that he player snaps into in case they aren't crazy about the headphones..Piper will be getting pink..and Adler blue..of course.





I'm sure I'll post shots from the actual party..but until then.."Happy Birthday Pippy and Adler"...Wish big!
